Goodbye White Apartment...

Well, if you have seen earlier posts I moved from my place on 42nd Street just a few blocks to 34th street. From a white apartment to a gray apartment. Just photographed the white place because we might try to sell or rent. Of course when I see it like this I miss it already. But the truth is that I like my gray one-bedroom which somehow is more calming to me and fits my energy these days.
(besides now I have my office not in my home like at the white apartment but in the photo studio...much better not so see printers and fax machines and filing cabinets and wires and cables when I wake up in the morning).

ps. These photos are for real estate posting so a little clinical....

  1. Omg Jim now you are killing me...you left this :O:O Oh my...:p

I love the peaks of your new apartment though ;)

And yeah...combining an office space with sleeping, not the best thing you wanna wake up to. Especially if you spend the whole day in front of a screen anyways :p

  3. wow. stunning. you probably shouldn't have any problems selling or renting your white apt. it's beautiful. letting go can be hard even when you know you're over a place. we're going through a similar thing here in tuscany. kind of want to move on, kind of attached and don't want anyone else living here! like an old boyfriend. you might not want to stay with him, but you don't really want anyone else dating him either!

I am so with you on this.....imperfection makes perfect. It's a talent to reinforce those and balance them so it becomes aesthetically pleasing.

Normally this is what I look for in art, sketchbooks, inspiration etc. I always keep on asking myself what is perfect?!

  6. This is beautiful. I'm sure you're sad to leave it. But the new place looks great.

I've only just discovered your blog and I have to say I'm enjoying getting lost in all the images. Thanks!
