Here is a new pic I shot down in Miami of a model named Lin. She was perfect for this. Very still and private and not quite contemporary but not quite old-fashioned. I like that it has a 1930s mood to it. Kind of They Shoot Horses Don't They meets Willamsburg hipster.
I love the way you captured the shadow of the stop sign. It adds to the mood.
ReplyDeleteI read the synopsis of the movie...so sad and yet I completely understand how Gloria felt. What a perfect title! A similar thing happens in The Confessions of Nat Turner. It's an interesting moral question.
I see how her head piece, shoes, and head pose would remind you of the 30's. The rest is definitely more modern, especially the pose of the body.
She looks like a girl who has no idea how pretty she is...love the profile.
